Job summary

CPM UK is seeking Merchandisers in the Millom area. This role offers approximately 2–4 hours per week, likely increasing during busy periods, at £15.07 p/h PAYE including holiday pay. Start within 2 weeks after onboarding and training with long-term, ongoing work.

Flexible across Monday to Sunday with fixed days Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Ideal experience in retail or merchandising, especially health & beauty, to support launches and promotions.

Qualifications

• Ideally, experience in retail or merchandising.
• Experience in Boots, department stores, or premium beauty chains is desirable.
• Available Monday to Sunday with fixed visits on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
• Reliable, adaptable, and happy working independently.
• Confident talking to store staff and building good in-store relationships.
• Takes pride in their work.
• Use your own car to carry promotional materials or small displays.
• Use of a phone or tablet to report on our app with photos and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Visit a mix of high street, grocery, and convenience stores to complete merchandising tasks, audits, and set up POS materials.
• Navigate fixtures confidently (gondolas, bays, shelving).
• Merchandise products in line with planograms.
• Maximize shelf stock to drive sales and keep displays looking great.
• Arrange and top up products on shelves and displays for visibility.
• Negotiate extra display space where possible.
• Some stock moving and lifting may be involved.
