Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Mechanical Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to undertake planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across a range of building services. You will operate within a shift team to ensure continuous service delivery and meet client SLAs.

A strong background in HVAC, AHUs/FCUs, and building services is essential. You’ll perform preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and document performance using CAFM, while adhering to health & safety standards and Mitie

Qualifications

Recognised mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of three years post-apprenticeship experience in mechanical maintenance.
Strong knowledge of building services, HVAC and related equipment.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance across building services plant and equipment.
Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and complete corrective works safely.
Monitor and report plant performance, defects, and maintenance activities using CAFM.
Collaborate within a shift team to meet client SLAs and KPIs with professional standards.
Ensure all works comply with Mitie policies, health & safety and safe systems of work.
