Job summary

HIJOBS in Scotland seeks an FLS mechanic to service a wide range of vehicles and forest machinery. You will operate in modern workshops and on-site in forest environments, supported by a small team and ongoing training in EV Level 3 and forestry equipment.

The Mechanical Engineering Services (MES) unit covers Scotland with three workshop areas, and offers on‑the‑job training across all vehicle and fleet assets.

Qualifications

• Training and development provided on the job.
• Experience with forest harvesting machinery an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site in forest environments and in modern workshops.
• Support and training within the MES team for safe maintenance of VME.
• Operate two and four post ramps and use diagnostic equipment for repairs.
