Job summary

Pybus Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Mechanical to service supermarket delivery vans across Leeds and surrounding areas. The role offers a base salary and performance-based bonus with a company van provided, and on-call weekends.

The successful candidate will conduct inspections, maintenance, and advise customers while adhering to all regulations and company policies. The position emphasizes ongoing learning and career progression within a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified with City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
• Valid full driving licence with fewer than 9 penalty points for at least six months.
• Ability to coach and develop colleagues and junior team members.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Mobile Mechanical

Location: Covering Leeds and surrounding area

Salary: Between £37,000-£40,000 basic salary + bonus - OTE 45-48K + company van

Our client is expanding their mobility service and is on the lookout for additional Mobile Mechanic / Vehicle Technicians to join their dynamic team!

Role is Monday to Friday - with 1 weekend in 4 on call - £150 payment for the weekend on call + overtime for any call outs

Your Role as Mobile Mechanic:

• Conducting vehicle inspections, servicing, and maintenance on supermarket delivery vans
• Providing top-notch technical advice and customer care
• Adhering to legislation, company, manufacturer, and supplier protocols
• Committing to continuous learning and development

Requirements

• Fully qualified with City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
• Strong organisational skills to manage processes and paperwork
• Ability to coach and develop colleagues and junior team members
• Hold a valid full driving licence with fewer than 9 penalty points for a minimum of six months
• Proof of the 'Right to work in the UK'
