Job summary

Pybus Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Mechanic to cover Bournemouth and surrounding areas. The role involves servicing and maintaining supermarket delivery vans, offering technical support and customer care.

You will work Monday to Friday with 45 hours per week and be on call one weekend every four, with pay for the weekend and overtime as applicable. Our client emphasises 24/7 operations, strong career progression, and earning potential.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent required.
• Strong organisational skills to manage processes and paperwork.
• Ability to coach and develop colleagues and junior team members.

Job Title: Mobile Mechanic

Location: Covering the Bournemouth and surrounding Area

Salary: Circa £40,000 basic salary + bonus - OTE 48-50K + company van

Our client is expanding their mobility service and is on the lookout for additional Mobile Mechanic / Vehicle Technicians to join their dynamic team!

Roles are Monday to Friday - 45 hours a week

You will be required to be on call 1 weekend in every 4, you will be paid £150 for the weekend you are on call + overtime for any call outs that you have to attend.

Your Role as Mobile Mechanic

• Conducting vehicle inspections, servicing, and maintenance on Supermarket delivery vans
• Providing top-notch technical advice and customer care
• Adhering to legislation, company, manufacturer, and supplier protocols
• Committing to continuous learning and development

Requirements

• Fully qualified with City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
• Strong organisational skills to manage processes and paperwork
• Ability to coach and develop colleagues and junior team members
• Hold a valid full driving licence with fewer than 9 penalty points for a minimum of six months
• Proof of the 'Right to work in the UK'
