Job summary

LLOYD'S REGISTER INTERNATIONAL is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to deliver day-to-day maintenance across supported living properties in Surrey. You will travel between occupied homes, reporting to the Facilities Manager and Director of Housing, ensuring safe, well-maintained living spaces for residents.

Candidates should have hands-on maintenance experience, own tools, a valid UK driving licence, and be able to work independently with professionalism and sensitivity to residents'

Qualifications

• Proven experience in general property maintenance or handyman work.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
• Provide and maintain own tools suitable for general maintenance work.
• Reliability, punctuality and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and ability to prioritise maintenance tasks across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day repairs and general maintenance across supported living properties.
• Undertake maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating and fittings.
• Attend maintenance requests and prioritise work with Facilities Manager.
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues and health and safety concerns.
• Assess defects and determine in-house vs. contractor resolutions.
• Ensure safe, trained handling of specialist or regulated work.
• Keep Facilities Manager informed of progress and issues.
