Job summary

BH Live in Bournemouth is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our general maintenance team. You will support the technical operations, performing reactive and preventative maintenance across the centre and surrounding areas.

Applicants should have basic building repairs and maintenance skills, a full driving licence, and the ability to use hand and power tools. You will work as part of a small team to keep facilities safe and functional.

Qualifications

• Competent at basic building repairs and maintenance.
• A full driving licence is essential.
• Practical knowledge of general building upkeep and maintenance.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high quality reactive and preventative maintenance service.
• Carry out routine repairs and maintenance work and respond to faults reported through our technical tracker.
• Assist and undertake building-related reactive, routine and planned maintenance programmes, including emergency repairs.
• Maintain a solution focussed attitude when approaching repair and maintenance tasks.
• Keep the technical team and duty managers informed of any problems affecting the centre or its day-to-day operation.
