Capita plc is recruiting for a permanent, full-time Maintenance Technician to cover East Norfolk. You will travel in a provided van to sites across the East Norfolk area, performing a mix of maintenance, repairs and practical site tasks.

The role requires a practical, hands-on approach, physical readiness, and a full UK driving licence. You will work from home with periodic site visits and be part of a supportive team focused on keeping facilities safe and well-maintained.

Formación

• Ability to maintain safe working environments in non-office settings with varied hazards.
• Team-focused with self-motivation and ability to work under supervision when required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work in varied client environments.
• Must live in the East Norfolk area to be considered.
• Full UK driver’s licence is required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintenance and repair of equipment across the site, including minor repairs.
• Reactive and preventative day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks.
• Assist general labouring and site work including painting, decorating, handling heavy materials, sweeping and cleaning.
• Undertake plumbing and joinery tasks within competence level.
• Keep sites, facilities and equipment clean and in good condition; dispose of refuse safely.
• Escalate equipment issues to the Maintenance and Repair Senior Technician.
• Maintain stocks of consumables and equipment.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures at all times, completing work to a high standard.
