Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join their team in the North/South Birmingham area on a permanent basis. You will carry out non-technical repairs and minor PPMs and assist in planned and reactive maintenance of electrical and mechanical plant across multiple sites.

The role offers a 40-hour week with a salary of £30K. Travel time is paid after half an hour each way, with overtime paid at 1.5x Mon–Fri and 2x Sat–Sun.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification (Carpentry / Plumbing / Roofing) preferred.
• Experience in building maintenance within a commercial / retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPM’s and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Responding promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary.
• Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carrying out non-technical repairs and minor PPM&'s. You will also assist in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites within the designated region.
