Job summary

Norse Group is expanding its maintenance team and seeks a Multi-skilled Maintenance Working Supervisor to lead engineers across Norfolk, Suffolk, and surrounding regions. The role covers planned, reactive, and project works for a major retailer, with a company van provided and a 40-hour week.

Responsibilities include supervision, coordinating multi-site tasks, and ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while working a 24-hour rota and occasional nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• SMSTS qualification or recently held SMSTS.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Extensive supervisory/management experience in maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead maintenance engineers across multiple sites in the East of England.
• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance tasks (tiling, painting, sealing, etc.).
• Oversee line management of a team of engineers and drive project delivery with QA and H&S adherence.
• Coordinate with coordinators and management to plan and execute works within tight timelines.
• Manage 24-hour call-out rota; include night work and weekends.
• Promote clear communication with clients and internal teams; adapt to needs.
• Support training (IPAF, MEWP) and operational challenges with initiative.
