Job summary

Synergi Recruitment is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a large Food/FMCG site in Norwich. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance across site machinery, with a focus on minimising downtime and keeping production running.

You will join an experienced team offering training and development, with a clear path for progression on a brand-new site and a shift pattern of 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG/manufacturing environments with a focus on maintenance.
• Ability to work safely on electrical systems within a manufacturing setting.
• Proven skills in mechanical maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Willingness to support production and minimise downtime.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Perform reactive breakdown maintenance.
• Lead project and improvement work.
• Fault finding on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Support production to minimise downtime.
• Work across conveyors and plant equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve efficiency and reliability.
