Job summary

Escape in central Scotland is seeking a skilled Mobile Maintenance Fitter to join a mobile engineering team across sites. This hands-on role focuses on keeping plant performance high through planned and reactive maintenance.

You will carry out preventive and reactive mechanical maintenance, diagnose faults, and support operational schedules. Hydraulic/pneumatic systems, reading schematics, and welding/fabrication skills are desirable. A company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar maintenance or engineering role.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of high-speed rotating equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Welding and fabrication skills desirable.

We're looking for a skilled Mobile Maintenance Fitter to join a mobile engineering team operating across sites in central Scotland. This is a varied and hands-on role within a well-established organisation that values quality work, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Dayshift/Backshift position

You'll play a key role in ensuring plant performance, reliability, and availability through both planned and reactive maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical systems
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues

About You
