Job summary

United Plant Services, Bangor, is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to service, diagnose and repair a range of small plant, agricultural and ground care equipment across customer sites. You will work independently, carrying out preventative maintenance, fault finding and timely repairs while delivering excellent customer service.

Training and career progression are supported within a growing asset-management group.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification required.
• Experience in maintenance or field service roles.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining diesel, petrol, and electrically powered small plant, agricultural, and ground care equipment.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Responding to breakdowns and restoring equipment to service efficiently.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections and servicing activities.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer queries professionally.
• Accurately recording all work electronically and ensuring required parts are ordered promptly.
• Maintaining your company vehicle to a high standard and ensuring appropriate stock levels are carried.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through reliable and professional service.
• Working in compliance with all customer, company, and health and safety procedures.
