Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Worthing is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance on plant, equipment and building services. The role involves fault finding, risk assessments and ensuring safe, compliant operations on a busy site.

You will work with a leading facilities team, plan tasks in a CAFM system, supervise contractors when needed and cover overtime including nights or weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or time-served background in maintenance.
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance environments.
• Electrical qualifications up to 17th Edition and City & Guilds standards.
• Mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks to the client through on-site equipment, update drawings, identify critical spares, improve machinery performance and the preventative maintenance program.
• Fault find on all types of machinery and support health and safety within the department.
• Provide electrical and mechanical expertise on heavy industrial machinery and overhead cranes.
• Write and follow risk assessments, and ensure compliance with permits and regulations.
• Plan daily work using CAFM systems and liaise with site services for building issues.
• Overtime or night/weekend work may be required to meet business needs.
