Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in London is seeking a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer specialising in electrical and mechanical maintenance to support a diverse range of plant and building services. You will apply your on-site expertise across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

The role requires fault-finding, risk assessment writing, and maintaining safe operations, with opportunities for overtime, night shifts, and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Recognised or time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Strong experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Electrical qualifications to City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 and 18th Edition.
• Mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds standard.
• Experience with 3-phase motors, drives and inverters.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience.
• Ability to fault-find and diagnose PLC systems.
• NVQ Level 2 in Electrical & Mechanical.
• Ability to supervise contractors and write risk and method statements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks on site, update drawings, and improve equipment performance.
• Conduct fault-finding on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Provide electrical and mechanical expertise for heavy machines and cranes.
• Write risk assessments and method statements for safe work.
• Use CAFM system to project and complete maintenance works.
• Liaise with onsite services to manage building-related issues.
• Deputise for shift leader during leave or sickness.
• Work overtime including nights and weekends.
