Job summary

PDA Search & Selection is recruiting a Maintenance Electrician (Mobile) to support multi-site sites across the North East England region. The role covers planned and reactive electrical maintenance across retail, offices and student accommodation, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

You will manage PPM schedules, fault finding, emergency lighting tests and on-call duties, with a 40-hour week and overtime opportunities. A valid electrical qualification and driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with current driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and fault finding.
• Experience in multi-site electrical maintenance and compliance paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Complete the PPM schedule within agreed timescales and ensure paperwork is completed.
• Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs.
• Fault finding and electrical maintenance works.
• Identify non-repairable faults and advise line manager.
• Ensure compliance documentation is up to date.
• Advise on-site manager of repair issues affecting operations.
• Carry out surveys and prepare reports.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policy.
• Be part of a 24/7 call-out rota (1 week in 8/10).
