Job summary

PDA Search & Selection is sourcing a qualified electrician for a mobile role across multi-site locations in the North East England. The base salary is £43,000.00 with call-out and overtime, and the package includes a company van with a fuel card, a pension scheme and 33 days of holiday.

The role focuses on planned and reactive electrical maintenance across various sites, ensuring all work and compliance paperwork are kept up to date, while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with proven experience in planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites.
• Experience with emergency lighting tests and repairs.
• Able to complete compliance paperwork accurately and on time.
• Able to interpret and follow health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within scheduled timescales and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Perform emergency lighting tests and repairs.
• Fault find and carry out electrical maintenance works.
• Identify non-repairable faults and report to line manager.
• Ensure compliance documentation is up to date.
• Inform on-site managers of issues likely to affect operations.
• Conduct surveys and prepare reports as required.
• Follow Health and Safety policy at all times.
• Participate in 24/7 call-out rota (1 week in 8/10).
