Job summary

HVAC Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for roles across Hull, Doncaster and Leeds. The position covers a mix of planned preventative maintenance and reactive work on modern commercial facilities, with a self-managed diary and attractive overtime potential.

Key duties include electrical PPMs, emergency lighting and fire alarm testing, L8 inspections, fault-finding, and general fabric repairs. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Maintenance Electrician.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Previous experience within Facilities Management or Building Services.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Electrical PPMs and reactive maintenance.
• Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
• L8 compliance inspections.
• Fault finding on lighting, power and socket circuits.
• Minor plumbing and general fabric repairs.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards.
