Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property in Banbury is seeking a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy commercial-sites team. You will perform Planned Preventative Maintenance and respond to breakdowns to keep electrical systems running smoothly.

The role requires full qualification with NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation, AM2, and up-to-date knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, plus a UK driving licence for site travel.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified with an NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Electrical Installation.
• AM2 certificate.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid UK driver’s licence is essential for site travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance tasks.
• Undertake minor installation tasks (power supply, lighting, power distribution, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and perform timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient maintenance operations.

My client have an exciting position available in the Banbury area for a skilled individual to join their team. You will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance services in various commercial sites, ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
