Job summary

The Clancy Group is seeking a Mobile Light Goods Vehicle Mechanic to support operations across Kent. You will service, inspect and maintain LGV vehicles, carrying out repairs safely and efficiently and ensuring paperwork is completed accurately.

This is a mobile role reporting to the Workshop Manager, with opportunities to work at multiple locations across the region. We require NVQ Level 3 in vehicle maintenance (or equivalent), a full clean driving licence, and MOT qualification would be

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in vehicle maintenance (or equivalent).
• Full clean valid driving licence.
• MOT qualification would be fantastic.
• Comfortable using technology to log records and stay up-to-date.
• Several years’ experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining LGV vehicles.
• Carrying out necessary repairs safely and efficiently.
• Ensuring all accompanying paperwork is completed accurately.
• Assisting other members of the Clancy Plant team to achieve maintenance schedules.

We are looking to recruit a Mobile Light Goods Vehicle Mechanic to join our team supporting operations across Kent. This is a mobile role, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of vehicles at locations throughout the region. Reporting to the Workshop Manager you will play an important role in enabling our workforce to carry out their activities, ensuring our fleet of LGV vehicles are serviced, inspected & maintained to the highest possible standards.

Our mechanics are integral to helping us achieve our vision of building a World where all infrastructure is sustainably built and maintained.

Here are some of the activities you'll be involved in

• Servicing and maintaining LGV vehicles


• Carrying out necessary repairs safely and efficiently


• Ensuring all accompanying paperwork is completed accurately


• Assisting other members of the Clancy Plant team to ensure planned works & maintenance schedules are achieved

Requirements

If you have several years’ experience in a similar role, and a NVQ Level 3 in vehicle maintenance (or equivalent), hold a full clean valid driving licence. If you are MOT qualified, that would be fantastic.

In addition, you are comfortable using technology to ensure records are logged and up to date.
