Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Lead Engineer to manage maintenance across multiple sites, including travel to Oxford, Southampton and other locations. The role includes supervising day and shift engineers, ensuring safety and timely completion of planned maintenance.

You will coordinate with site teams, maintain KPIs and SLAs, and contribute to a proactive approach to electrical maintenance and fabric works. A UK driving licence and call-out rota availability are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in people management or team leadership.
• Experience within electrical repair work and maintenance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office packages.
• Trade qualifications or H&S qualifications desirable.
• UK driving licence and availability for call-out rota.

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites to perform maintenance and reactive works.
• Ensure equipment and services are kept safe and compliant with Health & Safety policies.
• On-site safety procedures are followed by the team.
• Lead a team of engineers (day and shift engineers).
• Perform ad hoc duties on site (fabric works, etc.).
• Ensure KPIs and SLAs are met.
