Job summary

uk-erac is expanding and recruiting experienced Mobile Vehicle Technicians to support major supermarket and commercial vehicle operations across the UK. Roles are available across England, Scotland and Wales, offering flexible shift patterns and strong career progression.

Join our growing national operation and benefit from a £1,500 joining bonus, a company vehicle, tools and equipment provided, plus 25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays).

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Experience maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles, LCVs or similar fleet vehicles.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Proactive approach with focus on safety and quality.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair a wide range of commercial vehicles.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Ensure vehicles meet legal, compliance and safety requirements.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections where required.
• Attend customer sites and complete repairs efficiently and professionally.
• Accurately complete repair documentation and job records.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing the business.
• Support operational teams to maximise vehicle availability.

• Experience maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles, LCVs or similar fleet vehicles
• A full UK manual driving licence
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• The ability to work independently and manage their own workload
• A proactive approach with a strong focus on safety and quality
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
