Job summary

Hydraquip Hose & Hydraulics in the United Kingdom is seeking a field-based technician to service customer sites by replacing hydraulic hoses and components.

You will diagnose faults, work independently, and maintain strong relationships with customers while using the company app to update job records. On-call duties are included. Experience in hose replacement or mechanical fitting and a full UK driving licence are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience replacing hydraulic hoses and components at customer sites.
• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Confidence when dealing directly with customers.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Attending customer sites to replace hydraulic hoses and components
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently
• Working independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Updating jobs and reports via the company mobile app
• Building relationships with new and existing customers

What we’re looking for

• Experience in hose replacement, plant, HGV, agricultural or mechanical fitting
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Confidence dealing directly with customers

Desirable Experience

• Mobile or on‑call engineering experience
• Commercial awareness or customer development experience

This role includes participation in an on‑call rota, typically one week in every four.
