Job summary

Pirtek Greenwich is seeking a self-motivated Mobile Hydraulic Field Service Technician to service on-site hydraulic hose repairs in the Greenwich area. You will join a team that values reliability and hands-on problem solving.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and the willingness to undertake an online driving licence check. Training will be provided, with an after-hours 24-hour call-out roster including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical plant or engineering preferred.
• Interest in hydraulics and field service is advantageous.
• Willing to undertake training and develop skills.
• GCSE English and Maths required.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to pass licence checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock levels in MSSU per stock list.
• Perform routine maintenance checks per defect checklist.
• Keep MSSU clean and tidy inside and outside.
• Manage Pirtek documentation and updates.
• Support Centre staff and attend training courses.

We are seeking an outgoing and competitive Mobile Hydraulic Field Service Technician at Pirtek Greenwich, servicing on site hydraulic hoses repairs in the area. We are looking for self motivated people who can work well as part of a team. We would prefer experience in a mechanical plant or engineering background and will offer training for the right person. There will be an after hours call out roster which is on a 24 hour basis which you will be expected to undertake and includes weekends and bank holidays all year round. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to complete an online driving licence check.

• Maintaining sufficient stock levels within the MSSU as per a franchise supplied stock list.


• Performing routine maintenance checks in accordance with the MSSU defect checklist


• Ensuring the MSSU is kept clean and tidy inside and outside


• Managing all Pirtek supplied documentation within the MSSU including technical and procedural updates

To provide assistance to Centre staff within the franchise when requested To attend Pirtek training courses as requested by management Good personal presentation and adherence to Pirtek policies and procedures

Work experience

• Ideal person to have plant or motor trade background or experience with hydraulics


• Work experience in a technical/engineering environment advantageous but not essential
