Job summary

Rydon Maintenance Ltd in Bristol is seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our NHS facilities team. You will maintain and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems across NHS buildings, delivering both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs from a mobile base around Bristol.

You'll work to high safety standards, log service records, and participate in on-call rosters. The role offers extensive training, real impact from day one, and clear opportunities to progress

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience in maintenance of buildings in a commercial setting, ideally NHS.
• Solid Health & Safety awareness and ability to work safely to required standards.
• HVAC maintenance and repairs experience with fault finding and diagnostics.
• Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis and repair.
• Service chillers, split systems and associated plant.
• Carry out maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, pumps and motors.
• Minor installation, refurbishment and upgrade works.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and within agreed timescales.
• Accurately completing job documentation and service records.
• Participate in an on call rota for emergency and make safe work.
