About The Role

Mitie is looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic tradesperson to join their growing engineering team.

This role offers a challenging and diverse work environment where no two days are the same. Our skilled engineers provide mobile delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services across various clients and industries.

Responsibilities of a Mobile HVAC Engineer

• Service, maintain, and repair installations such as ventilation systems (AHU, Intake/extract), heating, and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs, Air Conditioning systems, etc.).
• Understand building control systems and BMS.
• Deliver high-quality service to clients, answer queries, report defects, and keep clients informed during site visits.
• Complete all work-related documentation accurately and promptly, including logs of inspection reports and remedial work.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• Experience in a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment.
• Relevant qualifications such as C&G Level 3 or Level 5 / NVQ or HNC equivalent, FGAS, mechanical engineering, or Heating & Ventilation.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe working systems.
• The ability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces, and willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency with mobile devices.
• Self-motivated, solutions-focused, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full Driving License.
