Mobile HVAC Engineer – Reading / Surrey – 45K & D2D

I am currently representing an excellent HVAC specialist company that is in need of a HVAC Engineer within the Reading / Surrey area.

THE COMPANY

My client is an HVAC specialist company that has been operating since 2013. Based in Buckinghamshire, they now employ a team of 16 HVAC engineers and are looking to add an additional engineer to the team. They provide service, maintenance, and breakdown support to their busy retail portfolio.

THE JOB

Monday – Friday, 40-hour week. Due to growth, they are seeking an additional HVAC engineer based within either south or west London to join on a mobile basis. You will cover areas from Reading, Surrey, M3 corridor, west side home counties, and London, working on their retail clients. The role offers plenty of overtime.

Your responsibilities include carrying out service, maintenance, and breakdown work on Comfort DX AC units, including VRVs, VRFs, splits, multi-splits, and AHUs.

SALARY & PACKAGE

• £40,000 – £45,000 basic salary, depending on experience
• D2D travel
• 1 in 10 call-outs - £200 standby + £50 per call + D2D at appropriate overtime rate
• Overtime paid at x1.5 Monday – Saturday and x2 on Sundays and bank holidays
• Van & fuel card (new VW Transporter) – private use allowed
• 20 days holidays + 8 bank holidays (increasing with service up to 25 days)
