GAP Group Ltd. is seeking a Mobile Hire & Sales Coordinator to join our Plant & Tool division. Based across the South East region, this role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced depot setting and enjoys building relationships with customers while driving sales.

As the first point of contact for customers, you will manage hire requests, coordinate logistics, and resolve queries, with frequent travel and overnight stays. A clear path for career progression in a growing business awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume hire desk or similar fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commercial edge and a drive to maximise sales.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with great attention to detail.
• Confident IT skills, including Outlook and Excel.
• A team player who can also work independently and use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Managing incoming and outgoing hires per day across a wide range of plant and tool equipment.
• Processing hire desk administration and handling customer and supplier queries with speed and accuracy.
• Ensuring stock levels meet demand and identifying opportunities to maximise sales.
• Coordinating with drivers and fitters to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
• Resolving customer complaints and supplier issues with professionalism and efficiency.

Please note as this is a regional position covering the South East region it will involve frequent travel and overnight stays. We are flexible on location across the region.
