Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of a national leader in commercial vehicle services for a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician based in Widnes, Cheshire. This mobile role offers hands-on trailer maintenance, repair and on-site customer service.

You will diagnose faults, prepare MOTs, and ensure high safety standards while working with tail lifts and curtain siders. A UK driving license is beneficial, with strong training opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Trailer or HGV Technician.
• Hands-on experience with trailers, tail lifts and curtain siders.
• Full UK driving license is beneficial but not essential.
• Level 2/3 automotive qualifications or equivalent are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Repair trailers in line with company procedures and safety standards.
• Fault diagnosis and reporting defects accurately.
• MOT preparation and checks.
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas and returning equipment to designated locations.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and providing on-site customer service.
