Job summary

The Lanes Group plc, the UK’s largest end-to-end drainage solution provider, is looking for a mobile operative in Leeds. You will be part of a two-person team, operating high-spec jetting equipment and vacuumation units on drainage projects, including blockage clearance, pipe cleansing and emergency reactive works.

Although you start at the depot, you’ll travel to sites across the region, covering industrial, rail, utility, commercial and residential work with travel times included.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence, with no more than 3 penalty points ideally
• A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable
• Competent in using an electronic device – laptop / tablet for data entry.
• Physical fitness and lots of energy.
• An in date CSCS would be advantageous – however this could be obtained if necessary

Responsibilities

• You will be part of a two-person team, operating our high specification jetting equipment and vacuumation units.
• Work projects will include drainage issues, including blockage clearance, pipe cleansing programmes and emergency reactive works.
• Although you start at the depot, you will be mobile attending to all work activities within various sectors (industrial, rail, utility, commercial, residential).
• Travelling in your vehicle you will cover jobs throughout the region, which can involve travel times added in addition.
