Job summary
CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Heating Service Engineer to join our field-based team covering the West of Scotland with occasional travel across Scotland and the UK. The role involves servicing, fault-finding and installing heating systems for domestic and commercial sites, with training in renewables.
The successful candidate will have domestic and commercial heating experience, gas qualifications, and a valid UK driving licence, with a focus on safety and customer service
Qualifications
- Experience working with domestic and commercial heating systems.
- Gas and oil-fired appliances and heating systems knowledge.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing a mobile workload.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned servicing and maintenance of domestic and commercial heating systems.
- Attend reactive breakdowns and diagnose faults across heating equipment.
- Complete repairs and maintenance safely and to a high standard.
- Work on gas and oil-fired appliances, heating systems and equipment.
- Service pumps, expansion vessels and pressurisation units.
- Install heating appliances, pipework and ancillary equipment.
- Complete accurate electronic job reports and service documentation.
- Liaise with customers professionally while delivering high service levels.
- Support installation projects and renewables training initiatives.
