Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking an Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist to join our physiology team. The role involves mobile assignments across the region, delivering health assessments and contributing to integrated care.

You will complete our three-week in-house training, join a multidisciplinary team, and participate in the preceptorship during your first year. The role offers a structured development path and mobility within your base region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 Sport and Exercise Science degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Join our multidisciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Complete our in-house three-week training course.
• Help promote health and fitness as part of our holistic, comprehensive health service.
• Deliver health assessments that support health and wellbeing goals.
• Support prevention as well as rehabilitation and recovery.
• Be passionate and caring in the service you provide, putting client's needs first.
• Complete our award-winning preceptorship programme during your first 12 months in the role.
