Job summary

Nuffield Health's onsite clinic on the AstraZeneca Macclesfield Campus (SK10 2NA) is seeking an Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist to join a modern clinical team delivering Health Assessments and Physiotherapy services. This is a full-time permanent role with a starting salary of £28,620 and a 40-hour week, including travel within the region as needed.

As an Academy Physiologist, you will work alongside Health Assessment Doctors, Senior Physiotherapists and under a Site Lead, benefiting

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 Sport and Exercise Science degree or equivalent.
• Studied human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition.
• Crucially, know how to apply physiology in practice.

• Complete our in-house three-week training course.
• Deliver health assessments that support health and wellbeing goals.
• Support prevention as well as rehabilitation and recovery.

• Complete our award-winning preceptorship programme during your first 12 months in the role.

Based full-time at Nuffield Health's onsite clinic on the AstraZeneca Macclesfield Campus (SK10 2NA), you'll join a well-established team delivering Health Assessments and Physiotherapy services in a modern clinical setting. Working Monday to Friday alongside Health Assessment Doctors, Senior Physiotherapists and under the leadership of a dedicated Physiologist Site Lead, you'll be part of a collaborative team focused on providing exceptional health and wellbeing support. Whilst you will have a base location all our Academy Physiology roles are mobile, so you may be required to travel within the region of your base site.
