Job summary

JCW Energy Services, part of the Apleona Group, is hiring a Mobile Handyperson to carry out fabric and plumbing repairs across client sites in the Huddersfield region. The role covers general maintenance, plumbing, electrical tasks, and adherence to compliance standards.

You will work within a team, with 40 hours per week and access to employee benefits; full training will be provided. A valid UK driving licence and plumbing qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Diagnose faults quickly and accurately.
• Experience working at corporate/commercial sites in a similar role.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Formal plumbing qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks (wall repairs, carpet tiles, bulbs, ceiling tiles, traps).
• Carry out basic plumbing tasks (replacing taps, TMVs).
• Carry out basic electrical tasks (wiring in replacement appliances).
• Complete compliance tasks (tap temps, EL flick tests).

  Hourly rate - £15.00 - £16.00 per hour

  We are currently seeking a professional Mobile Handyperson. You will carry out various maintenance work to include all aspects of fabric & plumbing repair across a variety of client sites across the region.

  As a qualifiedHandyperson, you will carry out:

  • General Maintenance tasks (wall repairs, laying carpet tiles, replacing bulbs, ceiling tiles, cleaning traps)
  • Basic plumbing (replacing taps, TMVs, etc.)
  • Basic electrical (wiring in replacement appliances)
  • Compliance tasks (tap temps, EL flick tests, etc)

  The MobileHandypersonwill work within a team and contribute at both an individual and team level to provide exceptional services and levels of compliance to our client and customers. The ability to develop good working relationships with our client, customers and colleagues with interaction on a professional level being a key requirement for this position.

  Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Formal plumbing qualification any other formal qualifications relating to the role
  • Able to quickly diagnose faults
  • Experience in working at corporate / Commercial locations in a similar role
