Job description

In your role as Sodexo's Mobile General Assistant at South London covering Lewisham, Deptford, Sydenham, Vauxhall, and Lambeth area, you will support the efficient operation of a bustling food and beverage business. Your responsibilities include showcasing kitchen items and displaying them appealingly. You will have public holidays off, including Christmas, and work regular hours.

• £15.00 per hour
• 20 hours per week
• Working pattern: Monday - Friday
• Term Time only (39-week working contract paid over 52 weeks)
• This position requires a Driving Licence & Access to a Vehicle

ALL TRAVEL EXPENSES ARE REIMBURSED. Retention BONUS for all attached mobile roles – £200 after completing a 12-week probation, further £300 after 52 weeks of employment.

What you do:

• Prepare meals for our school team and pupils.
• Keep the kitchen and serving areas stocked, clean, and hygienic.
• Support loading and unloading supply and delivery vehicles.
• Observe food handling and hygiene regulations.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Operate all machines and equipment correctly.
• Uphold the company's reputation.

What you bring:

• A great sense of teamwork.
• A dedicated and orderly approach.
• Ability to prioritize, handle pressure, and communicate well.
• Punctuality and dependability.
• Experience in a similar environment (helpful but not essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle required, as travel to different sites may be necessary.
