As General Assistant for Sodexo at St Mary's Island Primary School, Island Way W, Maritime Way, St Mary's Island, Chatham ME4 3ST, you will be contributing towards the smooth running of a fast-paced food and beverage operation. You will be responsible for showcasing what the kitchen supplies, presenting it in the most eye-catching way possible, ensuring we are offering the best service possible. As well as this, you work no unsociable hours and get public holidays off… including Christmas!

What you do

• Prepare delicious meals for our school team and pupils.
• Keep the kitchen and serving areas stocked, clean and hygienic always.
• Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
• Observe food handling and hygiene regulations.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Ensure that all machines and equipment are operated correctly.
• Always uphold the reputation of the company.

Package Description

“ A role that fits your life - and your family ”

• £ per hour
• 10 hours per week
• Working pattern: Monday to Friday 12pm - 2pm
• Term Time only (39 week Working Contract paid over 52 weeks).

**Equated pay (spread-over pay) means you are paid equally each month, covering your contracted hours, working weeks, and holiday pay, even during school closures. Further details will be provided at interview stage.**
