Job summary

Cadent is seeking a Gas Supervisor to join the Mains Replacement Contract team across the North West. You will perform purge and relight supervision, carry out gas safety checks, and work within a regional team of engineers.

A full UK driving license is essential. Responsibilities include inspecting meter relocation pipework, data accuracy, stock planning, and implementing cost-effective mobile engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Gas Engineer with solid IT skills.
• Apprenticeship or equivalent with a recognised certification.
• CMET1 & CMET2, MET4, REG1 & REG2 or equivalents.
• CODNCO1, TPCP1, CCN1, CESP1, CMA1 or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pipework alterations for meter relocations within client SLAs.
• Perform gas safety checks and visual inspections of appliances per gas safe regulations.
• Engineer on-site solutions with a focus on first-time fix.
• Plan workload and book appointments to meet timescales and customer requirements.
• Ensure accurate data returned from each job and shared with relevant departments.
