Job summary

LiveWest is seeking a Gas Engineer to maintain and improve homes across the Bath area. The role is mobile, requiring travel within a defined patch and a 30-minute commute where possible. You will diagnose and repair domestic heating systems, service boilers, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Applicants should have Gas Safe registration and proven experience in responsive maintenance. A full UK driving licence is essential, and you will work as part of the Property Services team with

Qualifications

• Proven experience in domestic gas maintenance and servicing.
• Ability to diagnose boiler faults and perform repairs.
• Experience working in customers' homes with a professional approach.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in field work.
• Proficiency in using mobile tech for work orders and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair domestic heating systems, including fault-finding and servicing.
• Ensure work meets Building Regulations and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Perform periodic testing and installation work in properties.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and attend required training.
