Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Forklift Engineer to travel to customer sites in the Middlesbrough area, diagnose faults, service and repair a range of fleet and customer machines. The position offers a competitive salary (£45k-£50.6k) with an annual bonus (5%).

You will ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard, provide workshop support when required, and complete mobile job reports using the company IT systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with forklift trucks or plant equipment.
• Knowledge of engines and control systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems.
• IT literate and comfortable with mobile job reporting software.
• History of long service in previous roles.

Basic salary: £45,000 – £50,650

Location: Middlesbrough

Your Job Summary:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for travelling to customer sites to diagnose, service and repair a range of fleet and customer machines. You will ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard and provide support with workshop repairs when required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Travelling to customer sites and carrying out diagnosis and repairs of faults
• Servicing and repairing fleet and customer machines
• Assisting with workshop repairs as and when required
• Diagnosing faults involving engines, control systems and hydraulic systems
• Completing mobile job reports using the company's IT systems

Experience you will need:

• Previous forklift truck or plant equipment experience
• Good knowledge of engines and control systems
• Good knowledge of hydraulic systems
• Previous experience working with lifting equipment
• Must be IT literate and comfortable using mobile job reporting software
• A demonstrated history of dedication and extended length of service within previous roles

Your Package:

Basic salary: £45,000 – £50,650

Annual bonus: 5% of your annual salary

OTE upto: £53,186.86

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm (45 hours per week)

23 days' holiday per annum, plus statutory holidays
