Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Forklift Engineer to diagnose, service, and repair a range of fleet and customer machines across customer sites in Middlesbrough.

The role requires travelling to sites, fault diagnosis, and proactive maintenance in a field-based position with an expected 45-hour work week and on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift truck or plant equipment experience.
• Good knowledge of engines and control systems.
• Good knowledge of hydraulic systems.
• Previous experience working with lifting equipment.
• Must be IT literate and comfortable using mobile job reporting software.
• A demonstrated history of dedication and extended length of service within previous roles.

Responsibilities

Basic salary: £45,000 - £50,650

Annual bonus: 5% of your annual salary

OTE upto: £53,186.86

Location: Middlesbrough

Your Job Summary:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for travelling to customer sites to diagnose, service and repair a range of fleet and customer machines. You will ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard and provide support with workshop repairs when required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Travelling to customer sites and carrying out diagnosis and repairs of faults
• Servicing and repairing fleet and customer machines
• Assisting with workshop repairs as and when required
• Diagnosing faults involving engines, control systems and hydraulic systems
• Completing mobile job reports using the company's IT systems

Experience you will need:

• Previous forklift truck or plant equipment experience

Your Package:

Hours:Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm (45 hours per week)

23 days' holiday per annum, plus statutory holidays
