Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Mobile forklift engineer to service, maintain and repair a range of materials handling equipment, including forklifts, side loaders and reach trucks. You will work on customer sites to keep equipment safe, reliable and productive.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, planning maintenance with customers, completing service records and warranty work accurately, and providing a professional service.

Qualifications

• Experience with materials handling equipment (MHE).
• Forklift trucks experience required.
• Experience with construction or agricultural machinery helpful.
• Experience with MEWP equipment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair MHE, incl. forklifts and MEWPs.
• Diagnose faults and plan repairs to maximise uptime.
• Complete service records, parts orders and warranty work accurately.
• Plan and book scheduled maintenance with customers.
• Follow health and safety requirements and PPE; communicate with service team.

Job Title: Mobile forklift engineer
We are looking for a skilledField Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair a range of materials handling equipment. You'll play an important role in keeping equipment safe, reliable and operational for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair materials handling equipment, including forklifts, side loaders and reach trucks.
• Diagnose faults and identify potential repairs to maximise equipment reliability and uptime.
• Complete service records, job sheets, parts orders and warranty work accurately.
• Provide a professional and high-quality service to customers.
• Plan and book scheduled maintenance with customers.
• Prioritise and manage your workload effectively.
• Ensure chargeable work and scheduled servicing are completed within agreed timescales.
• Maintain regular communication with the service team regarding completed work, estimates, damage reports and outstanding jobs.
• Carry out lifting equipment inspections when required.
• Carry out PAT testing when required.
• Follow all site health and safety requirements and wear the appropriate PPE at all times.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties required as part of the role.
