Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a skilled Material Handling Equipment Technician to service forklifts, stand-up lifts, and walk-behind lifts across customer sites. You will diagnose diesel engines, brakes, tires, AC, and perform PM services to keep the fleet operating safely.

The position offers competitive hourly pay of $38.00–$42.00, weekly pay, and full benefits after 30 days, with opportunities for ASE certification training and career development through Amerit University.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ vehicle maintenance experience or auto/diesel diploma.
• Experience with CAT equipment, generators, aerials, forklifts preferable.
• CDL Class A preferred and ability to drive manual transmission.
• ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair forklifts, Crown stand-up lifts, and Big Joe walk-behind lifts.
• Perform diesel engine, brakes, tires, AC and PM service on fleet vehicles.
• Prepare vehicle records and safety documentation, both manually and digitally.
• Interact with clients via email and phone as needed.
