Alecto Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a Midlands-based materials-handling business for a Service Technician to cover customer sites across the West Midlands. Based in Aldridge/Walsall, you will service forklifts and related equipment on-site with full training provided.

The role offers a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a basic salary of £33,000–£35,000 plus OTE £40,000+. A company van, fuel card and pension are included alongside 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and manufacturer

Responsibilities

• Oil and filter changes
• Routine servicing and inspections
• Greasing and lubrication
• Replacing serviceable components
• Basic mechanical repairs
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Preventative maintenance
• Attending customer sites and carrying out scheduled service work
• Completing service reports and paperwork
