Job summary

Ignite Recruitment, on behalf of a leading fire and security company, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Fire & Security Engineer to install, service, maintain and fault-find fire alarm and access control systems across social housing sites on a mobile basis, ensuring safety, compliance and full operational resilience.

You will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive visits, document service reports, liaise with housing representatives and residents, and progress professionally through FIA

Qualifications

• Experience installing, servicing and fault-finding fire alarm systems.
• Experience installing, servicing and fault-finding access control systems.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass a DBS check.
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and repair fire alarm systems.
• Install, service and maintain access control systems.
• Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and remedial repairs.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance visits.
• Liaise professionally with clients, housing representatives, colleagues and residents.
• Manage a mobile workload across allocated areas and attend multiple sites independently.
