Job summary

Rubix is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to perform repairs, installation and fault-finding on industrial air compressors across manufacturing sites. You will work on rotary screw, reciprocating, centrifugal and other compressor types, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

The role includes installation and commissioning, routine maintenance, diagnostics, documentation of visits and reports, and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of all types of compressors and related mechanical/electrical systems.
• Experience with PLCs, sensors and control systems.
• Hands-on experience with pipe work and safe installation practices.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and commissioning of compressors and related systems.
• Carry out routine maintenance, oil changes, filter replacements and belt adjustments.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and replace faulty parts.
• Maintain service records and provide detailed reports on performance.
• Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations on site.
