Job summary

Luton Bennett is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Mobile Vehicle Technician/Mechanic/Forklifts) to service forklifts and related equipment from a home base, covering Reading & Guildford. The role offers two salary bands (up to £37,000 or up to £42,000) with standard 40–45 hour weeks, paid travel, and overtime opportunities.

Based from home, you will perform PPM and breakdown on a range of materials handling equipment with limited travel.

Qualifications

• Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment.
• Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Vehicle technicians/motor trade background also suitable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service basis.
• Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
• Spares placed in van overnight.
