Job summary

Kautec Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and repair a range of specialised vehicles at client sites across the designated area. You will travel with a fully equipped van, perform routine servicing, inspections and diagnostics, and carry out engine work, hydraulics and electrical inspections.

The role requires self-motivation, problem-solving skills and a commitment to health and safety, with a focus on reliable, punctual workmanship and customer-facing

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a field service engineer or technician.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple sites with a full driving license.
• Excellent problem-solving and fault analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and inspections on specialised vehicles.
• Travel to client sites within designated area in a fully equipped van.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
• Diagnostics, engine work and fault isolation.
• Inspect and correct electrical wiring and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and report findings.
• Represent the client and ensure high service standards.
