Job summary

Kautec Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer – Mobile Fleet Technician to provide extensive vehicle maintenance and repairs on the road. The role involves traveling to different customer sites to perform preventative maintenance, emergency breakdowns, and diagnostic work on various types of vehicles, including HGVs and refuse collection vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience working on a mobile basis with agricultural or material handling equipment.
• Excellent understanding of vehicle technology.
• Ability to follow the repair process from fault analysis to completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform callouts and preventative maintenance for vehicles.
• Handle emergency breakdowns and MOT preparation.
• Conduct engine work and diagnostic investigations.
• Carry out chassis and fabrication work, as well as hydraulics and pneumatics.
