Job summary

Dennis Eagle UK is seeking a proactive Field Service Engineer to join their Aftermarket team. Covering the Surrey area from the Croydon Service Centre, this mobile role involves diagnosing and repairing faults on specialist vehicles, ensuring compliance and maintaining high service standards.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance, strong diagnostic skills, and excellent communication abilities. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package are offered, including 25 days holiday and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role (Field Service, HGV Mechanic, Workshop Engineer).
• Flexible with working hours and willingness to travel.
• Experience with electric vehicles is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on vehicle chassis and mounted equipment.
• Carry out servicing and maintenance to a high standard.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
• Use diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Log all work using PDA software and maintain accurate service records.
