Job summary

Talentmark is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join a recycling solutions company on a permanent basis. The role involves installation, reactive repairs, and planned maintenance across the UK, with a focus around Oxford/Reading and travel as required.

You will be responsible for installing and commissioning waste recycling equipment, performing PPMs, attending breakdowns, and maintaining accurate reports. On-call weekends (1 in 4) are required, with health and safety compliance emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience as a field engineer in heavy industrial or recycling equipment.
• Strong hydraulic fault-finding and ability to read electrical schematics.
• Full UK driving license with up to 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and work at client sites.
• 17th Edition Electrical qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission waste recycling equipment at client sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to reactive breakdowns.
• Carry out warranty repairs and maintain service reports.
• Manage van stock and adhere to health and safety policies.
• Participate in an on-call rota (1 in 4 weekends).
